At first I thought she was resting her arms on the water's surface, as though, for a mermaid, that's possible. Now I see it's the edge of a glass wall. I love how the up-close perspective gives me just enough information, and leaves the rest to imagination…where might she be? What is she staring at? Is she trapped in some container against her will, or is this like a home to her?

well, i thought about all those possibilites, and i am just a bit disappointed with my lack of planning towards the aquarium so that it would be a bit more obvious (and well executed) oh well, will do better next time!
